26-09-06, Yesterday~~

Met Tim in the evening, went to Marina Square for our dinner.. supposed to bring him to Waruku (Jap Restaurant) @ Marina Square.. i knw there's one there but not sure where it is.. so we checked out the directory.. they didnt show any "Waruku" ! ahh.. with much disappointment.. i brought him to Dian Xiao Er instead.. i was so so sure there was one there manz! yesh. Dian Xiao Er again?! the food there is good! esp the herbal duck.. and i ordered dishes frm the other time.. diet check : i had a few slices of fish and bean curd ;)

and we walked ard, thinking of looking for Yixian's birthday gift.. cos he was telling me he wanted some tees.. shopped ard but didnt managed to see any that caught my eye..

dessert was Hokkaido Ice Cream~ green tea with red bean and black sesame.. yummmmm! diet check : ahhh.. failed! but i controlled.. just a few small bites.. ;p

and... we went for our Forbidden City musical~ first time going for a muscial.. first time entering esplanade threatres.. wooo.. a different feeling i must say..virgin step into a threatre alike those i used to watch see on tv.. its a nice feeling to be part of the crowd getting all excited.. ;) too many ppl ard, so couldnt take a good photo of the place.. ironically, this photo that i snapped seems like theres no one in the threatre.. haha!

the show was really a blast. really enjoyed myself.. musical made a brand new stand in me! i laughed when they made some joke outta some stuff or do some silly actions, i smiled when it gets all heart-warming, get this fizzy fuzzy feeling in me, i frowned hard when the story gets serious and saddening.. the loud music.. great vocals..likable storyline..whats more it ended with a light twist that the end.. kinda like tt..heh ;)

About the Musical......

its actually a story of this lady from states who travelled all the way from States to China to draw a portait for Empress Cixi.. and while on her way to the Palace to meet up with the Empress.. she hears alot about how evil she was.. all the bad stuff she did.. so when she reached there, met the Empress.. she told the Empress that drawing a portait is actually a two-way thing.. so she gotta knw more abt the Empress before drawing the portait.. thats when the Empress started telling her story since young.. the young Empress Cixi was acted by Kit Chan.. yeah! she was abt 2 to 3metres frm me throughout the whole show.. goodie view! heh..

for those who wanted to go for the musical yet failed to do so.. its definitely a regret~ quick quick quick! havent end right ? ~~~

though ive heard and read frm the news and newspaper abt the critics of this show.. abt how they portait a good/sympathic image of Cixi when in actual history she's an evil lady.. yes its true this show shows the better side of Cixi, narrating story in the other way..

to me, i guess it just teaches us that we shouldnt judge things the way we see it.. we shouldnt confirm things just by hearing it.. there's always 2 sides to a page.. 2 different ways to interpret a story.. many ways to understand and absorb it~

27/09/06~~ TODAY!

off day off day! went to Marina Sqaure again! haha just happen to be going in and out of Marina Sqaure these days lah.. cos Mom havent been to MS since its been renovated.. so i accompanied her there..

SHOP SHOP SHOP! yeah bought quite alot of things.. shopped frm MS to Millenia~

Lunch was at Thai Express.. after close to a year.. its my 2nd time.. pretty good! i like it =) and its my Mom's first time~ spicy enough.. so she likes it too~ haha..

having Thai Express does mean something to me.. remembering a year back.. the usual bunch were having lunch at Thai Express esplanade.. meeting up with Nichole when she returned frm auzzie.. hmm.. i miss having all of them. every single one~ :) but something to warm me up.. everyone is doing well.. everyone is working hard for our own future, whats most impt, we knw the friendship we built through the many things we've been through.. doesnt change with distance. its all in the heart~ shall blog in details abt them when im free alrights! stay tune ;)

next off day is NEXT SUNDAY. grrrrr. its gonna be standing for like 8 hours for the next 11 days. can really die. standing up isnt a prob.. its when u're standing on heels!..

going back to school this friday for some Banquet Event with Zhan Yi & Yang Heng.. and some other class peeps.. not sure who though~ reporting time is 9! ok quite happy actually.. at least its a diff environment, everyday do the same thing can be quite annoying isn't it~ and wads more its with the 2 guys! haha ;)

life have been much a breeze.. at least ive got more time for myself than when i was in school.. its more of a full day thing back then.. but at the same time i do miss sch! miss the class.. miss that forever-pouring-out-dusbin and the fun little bits we go through in sch.. misses misses misses..

Especially out to the 2 crabbie members ive been missing, Glenn & Mich! at least u both are in the same shift yeah.. ;) knw that wldnt make things too bad.. may things get tough.. jia you ok? may u guys miss me.. hang in there alrights? haha! dunno when we'll be meeting though.. with all the weird shifts.. and odd off days.. hopefully on mich's upcoming birthday party? :) and of course not forgetting the many many other peeps !
